Sparks & Wiry Cries will partner with the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture to produce a preview event for the world premiere of ‘Songs in Flight’ The event includes a panel discussion and short performance excerpts. Artists include Rhiannon Giddens, Karen Slack, Will Liverman, Reginald Mobley, Howard Watkins, Shawn Okpebholo, Tsitsi Ella Jaji, and Edward Baptist. Martha is Co-Director/Founder of Sparks & Wiry Cries along with pianist Erika Switzer.
